As a founder of Everest, Ceridian's Design System, I was instrumental in creating a library of design components that can be reused across products, resulting in a cohesive user experience. Creating and implementing a design system involves understanding user needs, conducting research, defining design principles and guidelines, developing reusable components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, iterating on designs, gathering feedback, documenting and organizing the system, integrating it into the design workflow, and continuously evolving and maintaining the system to ensure consistency and efficiency in design and development processes.
The Results
